In May of 1969 Dr. Fred Rogers convinced Congress not to cut the PBS budget in half at the behest of Richard Nixon. Now Mitt Romney is sharpening the ax because he thinks the children of America are not important enough to invest in. This video is very moving, and will make you miss Mister Rogers terribly. We need to save the good work that he and PBS gave us as kids, and what today’s kids need desperately.
