Sketchy on Student Debt

Here’s a message from StudentDebtCrisis.org, with a new video on the many positions of Whipsaw Willard on Student Debt and for profit schools. Please enjoy.

Dear Cecelia:

With only two weeks left until Election Day, it is extremely important that voters be made aware of what a Romney/Ryan Administration would mean for higher education. That is why we put together a new video, detailing Romney’s “sketchy” attitudes on the topic.

For those voters who care about making higher education more accessible and affordable, Governor Romney’s rhetoric on the campaign trail with respect to higher education has been shockingly tone-deaf and utterly detached from reality.

It should come as no surprise that StudentDebtCrisis.org believes that a Romney/Ryan Administration would be an unmitigated disaster in terms of making college more affordable, easing the burden of exorbitant levels of student loan debt, and going after for-profit schools for their fraudulent practices.

Because this is an issue that matters a great deal to us, we just released a brand new video highlighting Gov. Romney’s ill-informed and wrong-headed positions regarding higher education.

Please click here to watch the video and then be sure to share it far and wide by email, or on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or anywhere else you feel this message could make a difference.

We’re also asking that you click here to tweet Governor Romney and ask: “Why are you so ‘sketchy’ when it comes to higher education?”

Higher Education should be a right, not a privilege reserved only for the rich, and those willing to hock their entire future for the chance to earn a degree that would allow them to get ahead. There is a better way, but it starts with learning the facts!

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Now, let’s make this video go viral!

Sincerely,

Robert Applebaum
