Stupid Politician Tricks

Just what are the minimum requirements to be fit to serve in public office?  I really have to wonder these days.  Aside from the blatantly criminal behavior evidenced by the boys and girls serving up in Albany, NY that is…..those jerks have really brought the bar down low, and it just seems politicians are getting less intelligent.  Governors leaving office because of sex scandals, jump immediately to mind.  Shouldn’t one have their personal life in order before they dare presume to order our public lives?

Consider the national Congress and Senate shenanigans, during speeches and on the Sunday shows, and you could make a case for the decline of American politics indeed. Some of the most stupid, harebrained, and racist comments are not made by some loopy blogger in an obscure location; they’ve been uttered by those already holding public office, and usually seeking a higher office.  I even wonder if politicians should be tested for mental illness. Sore Losers List

The sore Losers of Election 2012 are not taking it easy.  Particularly the Republican ones.  And some just never got the lessons in grade school about being poor winners and losers, that the rest of us enjoyed.  Maybe they don’t teach sportsmanship to the folks who get to Capitol Hill either?

  • Congressman Allen West, the south Florida Republican who has made headlines nationally for his fiery Tea Party rhetoric, filed motions asking a judge to require elections officials to impound ballots and voting machines.   100% of precincts reported Democratic candidate Patrick Murphy as the victor.  But West still refuses to concede.  Continue reading

Romney’s Plans for FEMA?

What did Mitt Romney really mean by his comments about helping during times of disaster during the Republican Primary? Michele Bachmann Is Vulnerable

From my Inbox to you:
We can influence the elections of those whose influence has affected our nation’s well-being in such a reprehensible manner.  $3 is a hell of a bargain, if we can up the chances of reducing the ranks of the Tea Party.

Tired of Tea Party extremism? Sick of teanderthals like Michele Bachmann, Joe Walsh, and Allen West and their outrageous statements and even more outrageous policies? Here’s your chance to do something.  Continue reading

RNC was pretty scary, Like Invasion of the Body Snatchers-Style

Any one get creeped out by the expressions on the faces of the delegates and other attendees? The mixture of anger and glee on their faces at the same time was frightening, and just weird. The joyful way they dived into hating the on President Barack Obama, the government, and any others they see as “against real People, and freedom”.
The language used when talking to reporters, the uncanny way they are never swayed by fact, moved by compassion for others, or ever stray one iota from the party line was chilling.  The very words bold, failure, and built have been kicked to death by misuse.  Continue reading

Michael D. Higgins Owns A Tea Partier

Oh, how I wish we had Americans who could give it as good as the president of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins (who was elected last year). Continue reading

From Snoop Lion, to Paul Ryan

The news reported to us here in the United States recently has been a laugh riot!  Of course, aside from all the mass murdering and shootings, that is. Let’s recap, shall we?  The world enjoyed the gaffe filled mini-tour of our very own GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, and the Olympic hopes of Mrs. Ann Romney and the lovely Rafalca.
